We are major wood trade and shipping company established to cover the Central European market. Operating in Western and Central EU countries gives us great flexibility in choosing suppliers and responding to demand for specific types of wood products.
We are FSC an PEFC certified company, which works in accordance with EUDR regulations.
With every shipment, we move our services to a higher level and work to create a trusting environment between our suppliers and customers.
WHO WE ARE
At ByTorp s.r.o. and our subsidiary company New way Slovakia s.r.o., we specialise in the trade and export of wood products. Our portfolio contains raw sawlogs as well as lumber. All species of our soft and hardwood come from the EU. We ship worldwide with a strong background in forwarding, and extensive knowledge of products and the market.
To meet growing demand, we developed a strong network of suppliers and even established trading companies in several EU states – Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany and Austria.
We have many years of experience with logistics that we draw on for our customers‘ benefit. International forwarding is our domain.

We also supply FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC™ (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified roundwood, sourced from sustainably managed forests in compliance with internationally recognized forest management and chain of custody standards.
Our certified logs are fully traceable through the supply chain under Chain of Custody (CoC) certification, ensuring that the raw material originates from responsibly managed forests with verified environmental and social performance.
We operate in full compliance with EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) and other timber legality requirements.
Certified logs are available in various species and dimensions upon request.

Our colleagues are ‘in the field‘ when we are sorting roundwood for every contract and when the container is loaded. This is how we are keep eye on wood quality all the time.
We always work closely with the customer in choosing the method of transport. We respect the customer‘s preference of POD, vessel owning company and transport time.
All essential transport and legal documents are issued by us. We do not need to rely on specialised agents. Documents are always presented on time and without faults.
Customers can contact us directly on WhatsApp or Wechat, they don´t need to wait for a reply from a corporate email address.
